Christmas Got Ya Stressed??

I’ve got the cure for Christmas stress this year!
Large amounts of alcohol!  (i’m just kidding)

There are many natural ways to deal with stress as well, here are a few:

Have a positive attitude, it's a choice, hey, i did not say it was easy!

Try not to worry about things out of your control. (worry never helps).

Enjoy Christmas music in your home while decorating, cooking, cleaning or wrapping gifts. Here’s a nice one and no it’s not grama got ran over by a reindeer!

Problem solve with friends around you. Ask them to help you alleviate stress.

Take a plate of Christmas goodies to a grumpy neighbor or co-worker.

Exercise. A few extra minutes of exercise a day can benefit your overall health, (and a good thing with all the Holiday snacks around).

Stay away from nasty in-laws, (again, this may not be easy).

Eat nutritional food. Decrease the amount of fat and sugar you eat, (yeah, right).

Take a good ol' fashion bubble bath!

You should avoid drinking too many caffeinated beverages. (not me, you)!

Rest. Try to get eight hours of sleep each day.

Get a massage. It can be beneficial for the mind and body, and get me one too while you’re at it!

Meditate (pray) or take a class in relaxation and stretching techniques.

Every-so-often stop and do a deep breathing exercise.

Get up a little earlier in the morning, at least once, and read the very first Christmas. Share these verses with your family.

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." 1Peter 5:7
