I Don't Go To Church....

I've been involved in ministry stuff for over 30 years now, (yeah, i started when i was -1 years old). When people find out i have been involved in church work, many times i get the comment, ----church? I don't go to church anymore! There are various reasons given, and many are valid in my opinion.

Here are some suggestions you should ponder when considering attending a church. Many thanks to David Foster , senior pastor of The Gathering, who inspired this post.

1.  Go to a church where there is plenty of laughter

2.  Go to a church where it's okay not to be okay.

3.  Go to a church where relationships really matter more than programs.

4.  If you're never inspired by the church you attend, find one that does!

5.  Go to a church that is trying to reach the younger generation, even if you're not a part of that generation.

6.  Go to a church that has lot's of little children.

7.  Go to a church that welcomes and wants your involvement in their programs.

8.  Go to a church that challenges your thinking about how church should be done.

9.  Go to a church where the leadership is real and transparent.

10.  Go to a church that has been big plans for reaching it's community.
