Finding Hidden Treasure

Ever wanted to see a change in your life or relationship but it just doesn't seem to happen? Where do we find the real power to make a real difference in our life?
Real power is found in one of the strangest, most unexpected places. Real power is found in a hidden treasure called meekness.
When talking about meekness, or gentleness, we tend to think of something sweet and gentle like a lamb or a baby. But meek does not mean weak. It means "power under control."
I believe life’s ultimate treasure, lies within us. Jesus was asked by the religious leaders when the kingdom of God would come.  He replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.

You and I are as God created us - secure, complete, whole, content, at peace, free, and truth. Jesus said the kingdom of God is not out there somewhere; it is in you. Meekness, a hidden treasure, is what can lead to walking in this kingdom.

The problem is we get off track. We let others bring strife, bondage and lies into our lives, (and we’ve made choices to walk in that lifestyle). We need to learn how to live in this kingdom, finding or re-discovering this hidden treasure of meekness within.

Imagine it this way, it's like a rocket launching off a pad. If you took the same amount of energy and created an explosion, it would destroy the launch pad. But because that energy is funneled in a certain direction, it is instead able to launch the rocket into space.
Take the power we have in our words, emotions and drive, and bring the hidden treasure of meekness in.
In this type of living, you take the power God has given you and you share it with others. This will lead to change!
